FAQ
- How does the template work? The template works similarly to the default Notion Project & Tasks template. However, if you want to track the time spent on your tasks, simply open a task and start a session. And don't forget to stop the session when you are finished.
- What if I forgot about my Session? If you forget about your work session for a night, for example, you can find it in the "Heavy" tab where it will appear in red. You can open the session and manually change the end time and status.

How to create Reports?
- Scroll down to find the Report section.
- Add a new page and name it, e.g., "Aug 2024."
- Open the newly created page.
- Press the "Calculate" button to generate the report.
- How to stay productive? Take frequent breaks. Rest whenever you feel your concentration declining. If your concentration drops by more than half, it's a sign that you've been working for over 4 hours and need a longer break to stay productive (marked as yellow). Working for more than 8 hours without breaks is rarely effective (marked as red), and may indicate that you've forgotten to stop your work session for a long period. Additionally, you can also use a Pomodoro timer to better understand the balance between work and rest.
- Can I change the Date of the Task? Don't worry about the dates of your tasks. It doesn't matter which month your task is in, or even if it's empty. Only the dates for Time Sessions are used. So, you can plan your tasks however you want without any limitations.
- Can I transfer time from one task to another task? Yes, you can. Simply open the task from which you would like to move the time. Open the time session, click on the Task property, and replace it with the new task.
- Can I modify the template to fit my needs? The template is designed as a native Notion template that preserves the original structure and navigation. This allows you to quickly create your own dashboard using the table view with the core presets.
- My task items are not showing in the report! If your task items are not showing, press the "Calculate" button again, and they will appear. *In certain cases, the page needs to be reloaded.

Known limitations
- Sub-Task hierarchy: Up to 5 levels of Sub-Tasks are supported. However, for Reports, only 4 levels work properly. It is recommended to maintain a clean and simple hierarchy by keeping 2-3 levels.
- Single Report View: The time for items can only be displayed from one report at a time. To update and view the time for tasks in the current report, you need to set a date range (once per report) and click the "Calculate" button.
Some Handy Technical Bits
- The parent tasks display their time, including the total time of all subtasks.
- Easily reassign a time session to a new task for improved accuracy.
- Name your time sessions just like tasks for better tracking.
- Detect overlooked or analyze your heavy time sessions.
- The active timer is highlighted in blue for easy identification.
- Time continues to appear even when a session isn't paused.
Refreshing the page will sync the actual time count. - A built-in calculator to simplify time conversions.
